Welcome to the Dunbar Golf Club visitor booking service. This page allows visitors to book tee times in various ways online, through the enquiry form or by contacting the club office.

We are pleased to offer an online booking option to all visitors. This gives you the convenience to choose a day and time that suits you best. Payment online means all you have to do is turn up and enjoy the “Dunbar Experience”.

Please note you can only book up to a maximum of four golfers and one round of 18-holes online for groups larger than four or if looking to play more than one round please use the enquiry form or contact us.

Please note before booking online that with the course being of Championship status, it is not suitable for inexperienced or beginner golfers. Visitors are expected to be members of recognised golf clubs and handicap certificates may be requested prior to play.

Booking Terms and Conditions

These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times at Dunbar Golf Club.

Online Bookings

• Full payment is required at the time of booking which can be made via debit or credit card.
• Following the transaction an email confirmation and booking reference will be sent to you via email.
• All other types of green fees must be booked by contacting the club and not booked online. eg: Juniors, Day-Tickets etc. as no payments will be refunded once the online booking has been made.

Club Office Bookings (Tee Booking Enquiry Form, Email or Telephone)

• A deposit of £20.00 per person is required to confirm the booking. This is required to be paid within 7 days of making the booking.
• The final balance is due to be paid 60 days prior to the date of play. We accept payment by Visa (debit and credit) card, MasterCard, American Express and Bank transfer.

All visitors must adhere to The Club rules outlined below and Dress Code .

Playing Ability & Handicap

Please note that with the course being of Championship status, it is not suitable for inexperienced or beginner golfers. Visitors are expected to be members of recognised golf clubs and handicap certificates may be requested prior to play.

Pace of Play

All golfers visiting the course wish to enjoy their experience. Slow play affects the enjoyment of all golfers on the course and it is expected that you keep up with the group in front. A 4- ball playing Dunbar is expected to play a round in 4 hours.

Pairing Up

The Club reserves the right to pair visitors up in tee times without prior advice, this is generally the case for one or two ball bookings.

Weather Conditions

Only in the event that the course is closed on the date of play will the Club refund green fees or transfer them to an alternate date.

Course Health & Safety

It is the responsibility of the lead member of the party to make sure your group members are aware of Dunbar Golf Course Health and Safety. The safety headlines are:

Being Safe:

Dunbar Golf Course is on a narrow strip of links land and golf balls can therefore possibly be played on to the wrong fairway at a number of holes. Care must be taken at all times to ensure it is safe and clear to play. When proceeding to the 7th tee (along the path behind the 16th green) be prepared to stand aside if others are on the 16th tee. There is a coastal path used by walkers and there is signage reminding them to allow golfers to play their shot. However, this isn’t always the case and golfers are reminded they should not play their shot unless it is safe to do so.

Playing your Part:

Please replace divots, repair pitch marks and use the seed mix provided at the par 3 holes.
Bunker rakes are provided, please use them and return them to their stand.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your booking please email secretary@dunbargolfclub.com or call +44 (0)1368862317.

If a booking is cancelled, our policy is:

• Cancellation within seven days of the booking being made = Full refund
• Cancellation more than one month from the booked date of play = Loss of standard deposit
• Cancellation between one month and one week before date of play = 50% refund
• Cancellation within one week of play = No refund (in this circumstance we will seek to re-book you for another date)

We strongly advise that you arrange travel insurance to provide cover in the event you are unable to play on your booked date due to delayed/cancelled flights or travel plans, personal injury or illness.
